This stunning bauble from the Edmonton Oilers first Stanley Cup Championship season is a
head-turner. The tableau features a large cubic zircon floating in a royal blue sea surrounded by the words "1984 Edmonton Oilers". One shank displays "Gretzky" with the inset Oilers logo and image of a carrot (for motivation). The opposing shank has "Stanley Cup Champions" and "NHL" with "Winnipeg 3-0, Calgary 4-3, Minnesota 4-0, Islanders 4-1", all surrounding a raised image of the Cup. We have recently had this ring refurbished with a fresh gold-plating but you can still make out the Josten's salesman sample numbers inside the band if you hold it up to the light. A rare, real sample ring, identical to those presented to those talented members of the Oilers dynasty team of the Eighties.
