World Hockey Association enthusiasts will be indeed enthused by this fantastic durene knit beauty, worn by Alain “Boum Boum” Caron during the Quebec Nordiques’ first year of existence. With a powerful shot from the right side, Caron led the Nords in goals with 36 in 1972-73, wearing this number 19 shirt along the way. Tie-neck style jersey looks to still have the original lace woven through the four eyelets and features sewn-on tackle twill numbers and crest. No longer tagged sweater shows light to moderate game use, with most of it on the sleeves. Sweat-staining and multiple runs are at both cuffs, with laundered red and blue paint transfers and a few stick marks also present. A couple of small unrepaired holes are on each sleeve, along with light burns/scrapes and stretch marks. Wear to the numbers on the back and two runs on the back hem are also notable. A classic to add to a WHA display.
