A great two-way player who gave the Islanders 10 straight 20-or-more-goal seasons (peaking with 42 in 1984-85), two-time Stanley Cup champ Brent Sutter donned this white air-knit Isles home jersey while captaining the team in his later years on Long Island. Heavy game use here with the lower front and back plastered with black stick marks (some good ones in the team crest) and general filth. A dozen small holes went unrepaired on the right sleeve, as did two dime-size jobs to the right of the CCM patch on the rear hem. Maska tag in the neck had size “52” added in ballpoint. A fierce competitor who played through pain, Brent was another credit to the most remarkable family the NHL has ever seen.
