Beauty durene offering here features the old L.A. Kings crown crest and is from either the '71-72 or '72-73 season, meaning Jean Potvin or Barry Long would have worn it. An LOA from Rich Ellis mentions the Rawlings washing instructions tag in the hem, (where a size 48 Goodmen & Sons tag also appears), the block cut shoulders and the fight strap high up between the numbers as factors helping to date the jersey. An erroneous “Sargent” name sewn on the back has been removed, leaving the outline and multiple stitch jobs. Game use includes some nice burns, scrapes and red paint transfer on the sleeves, three team repairs on the front including a 2-inch vertical job, a few small unrepaired holes, a run along the back hem, interior pilling and a stretched collar.
