A likeable young man passionate about hockey, Alexander Ovechkin has done very well for himself since arriving in North America and will surely continue to wow the hockey world in years to come. This is the road white Capitals jersey the superstar was wearing earlier this season when he scored his 100th career regular season goal. His second of the season, scored October 13 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, was the milestone marker and was reached in his 167th game, making him the fastest in NHL history to reach the century mark. His alternate captain’s jersey by Reebok in size 58 shows heavy game use with stick marks, board burns (resulting in six holes on the right sleeve and two on the left), red and blue paint transfers, snags, scrapes, interior pilling and two team repairs. One is a two-inch stitch job on the back right shoulder near the eagle patch while the other is a material-backed two-inch affair on the left sleeve. Like Ovechkin, this baby “has it all!” A MeiGray Group tag in the inner left hip region reads “NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2007-8 Season - E07679.” The sky seems to be the limit for the Moscow-born human highlight reel, rendering this jersey ultra-attractive.
