All-orange Sher-Wood PMPG model stick was used by Oiler goaltender Grant Fuhr as he made history towards the end of the '87-88 season. Grant appeared in his 74th game of the season, backstopping Edmonton to a 6-3 win over Minnesota. The March 30/88 date is part of the notation penned to the lower paddle of the stick, where the Hall-of-Famer applied a nice big bold black marker autograph. Stick shows good game use but is solid and crack-free, with a few chips along the edges of the paddle. Obtained from former Oiler team photographer Bob Mummery, the special lumber will come with his signed LOA. Incredibly, Fuhr bettered the record in '95-96 with St. Louis, playing in 79 games!
