The without parallel, almost unbelievable career of Wayne Gretzky came to an end on Sunday, April 18, 1999 at New York's Madison Square Garden, with these two special pieces recalling the historic event. An 8” by 10” photo of The Great One in the Rangers dressing room has been nicely autographed by the legend in blue sharpie, Wayne adding his number “99” (that commissioner Gary Bettman retired forever), and the “4/18/99” date. Accompanying the photo is a scarce full ticket to the game between the Rangers and Penguins, won 2-1 in overtime by Pittsburgh. Gretz earlier registered his final NHL point on Brian Leetch's goal. After Jaromir Jagr's OT marker ended the game, Wayne skated around the MSG ice followed by his teammates, before taking a lap by himself. Photo is double-matted, framed to 15” by 17” and includes a WG Authentic hologram. Like Wayne, great!
