Intriguing letter was sent from legendary Boston Bruins' boss Art Ross to another original Hall-of-Famer, Lloyd Turner, regarded as “Mr. Hockey” in Calgary. Dated May 11, 1938, the letter discusses a few players and includes “I think it would again be a wise policy to have all these players report to you for a week's workout before we start our season again.” On terrific Boston Professional Hockey Association letterhead that lists all eight NHL teams, the one-page letter concludes with a nice fountain pen signature inked by one of hockey's all-time most important contributors. With fold lines and the original (torn) envelope, it's a Hall of Fame piece!
