For Bobby Orr lovers who have yet to secure an image recalling Bobby’s most famous goal comes this fabulous framed display, capturing an already celebrating Orr, stick raised, as he flies through the air after securing Boston’s first Stanley Cup title in nearly 30 years. May 10th, 1970 was the date, St. Louis’ Glenn Hall the victim and a hysterical Boston Garden the place. Awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, Bobby’s goal after 40 seconds of overtime gave the Bruins a 4-3 victory and a four-game sweep of the Blues. Orr’s classic signature here is in blue marker, his “#4” added. With a metal plate detailing the goal and matted and framed in Bruins’ colors, the piece measures 22” by 24” and will come with a certificate of authenticity from Great North Road Marketing.
