Desirable home white Canadiens jersey from the 1980s was donned by center Doug Wickenheiser during his most productive NHL campaign, “Wick” potting 25 goals and 55 points in ‘82-83. With a Maska Ultrafil tag in the collar and another indicating size 52, the knit jersey exhibits heavy game use with three dozen team repairs (including a 5” long one on the back), countless black stick marks, multiple red paint transfers and laundered general filth on the sleeves, and significant interior pilling at the elbows. A long nameplate removal, “Maska” on the rear hem and a blue-striped garter-style fight strap are also to mention, along with a stick mark above the repaired blue outline of the Habs crest, both matched to Doug’s ‘82-83 Steinberg’s hockey card - this baby has it all!
