Highly significant and rarely offered Stanley Cup finals memorabilia is from April 12, 1960 and game three, played at Maple Leaf Gardens. The original owner of the “Preferred Standing Room” ticket saw Maurice Richard score his final NHL goal (his record 34th career in the finals and record 82nd in the playoffs!) as the Canadiens took a commanding 3-0 series lead with a 5-2 win, Phil Goyette leading the Habs’ attack with a hat trick. Montreal clinched their still record
fifth straight Cup with a 4-0 win two nights later, Jacques Plante completing his first finals wearing his controversial mask. Crease-free stub (Leafs 4th playoff home game) was obtained with others from ‘59-60.
