Exceptional celluloid creation captures members of the 1945-46 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens, with the images being the work of Montreal’s famous Rice Studios. The stovepipe-shaped Stanley Cup is joined by the full-body color poses of Durnan, Richard, Blake, Lach, Bouchard, Reardon, O’Connor, Reay, Mosdell and the rest of the squad that took care of the Black Hawks (4-0) and Bruins (4-1) in the playoffs. The scores of each game, as well as pics of coach Dick Irvin and manager Tommy Gorman, are also included. Measuring 8-1/2” by 12-1/2” and in EX condition, it’s a piece we believe may have only been given to team members. Another must for an important Habs team photo collection.
