Commemorating the Montreal Canadiens' record 24th Stanley Cup triumph, this miniature replica of hockey's most coveted prize recalls the playoff heroics of Patrick Roy, who wrote another chapter of his clutch postseason story in the spring of 1993, backstopping the Habs to an amazing 10 straight overtime victories. Montreal got past the Nordiques, Sabres and Islanders before taking care of Gretzky and the L.A. Kings in a 5-game final, Kirk Muller scoring what proved to be the Cup-winning goal in the 4-1 clincher at the Forum. Leclair, Desjardins, Damphousse, Bellows, Keane and Dipietro also made significant contributions to the Habs' cause and their names join those of their teammates in three columns, engraved below those of the team's coaches and executives on the barrel of this silver-plated memento. From the collection of former photographer Toto Gingras, the special keepsake stand 13'' high, with tamish, a couple of small dents and miscellaneous scratches to note. Representing a memorable playoff run, it should clean up well and look stupendous in your special Canadiens shrine. An LOA from the family of Toto Gingras will be included.
