From a time when the mighty Montreal Canadiens were dominating National Hockey League play and stringing together four consecutive Stanley Cup championships comes this “Canadien” goal stick used by Hall-of-Famer Ken Dryden, who claimed the Vezina Trophy in each of those four seasons. “Dryden” is stamped on the shaft, with “29” added just above in black marker, while darkened white tape covers the knob, done in black. With wide white tape covering most of the blade, the stick shows lighter game use and is solid with no cracks. Scotch tape was used to keep the lower rainbow-colored accent stripes in place. A fine example from a glorious time to add to a Canadiens/Hall of Fame/goalie stick collection.
