From Patrick Roy’s last of 18 memorable NHL seasons, one that saw hockey’ all-time winningest goaltender tack on 35 victories to push his lofty career total to 551, comes this white air-knit Avalanche home jersey by CCM. Two tags in the neck include the Canadian flag and indicate size 58 and “Goalie Style” respectively, while “ROY” is stitched to an arched nameplate. Excellent game use as evidenced by the 20-or-so black puck marks on the front, including a larger one to the left of the Avs crest that can be photo matched. A pea-size hole and two smaller ones are also in that area, with more puck marks on each sleeve. A little red paint transfer is also of note. A tag in the inner rear hem reveals “NHL Game Worn Jersey 2002-2003 Season” and bears the NHL and MeiGray Group logos. Patrick appeared in 63 games in his final year, fashioning a solid 35-15-13 record, with five shutouts and a 2.18 goals-against-average. Tempting goalie shirt worn by a three-time Vezina and three-time Conn Smythe Trophy winner and the best of his era, it will be accompanied by an LOA from the MeiGray Group. Worthy of mentioning again is that this stunning example of a Patrick Roy Av's jersey is absolutely riddled with puck marks and comes with an amazing photo match. A representative from the MeiGray Group mentions that there are many, many other wonderful photo match possibilities available for this jersey. This is truly a wonderful jersey from the Hall of Fame goaltender that will add value to any collection.
