That’s right, just the “top” of a Bee Hive ring picturing the legendary Maurice Richard is offered here, the Rocket and his slicked-back hair showing through the metal-backed clear Lucite dome. The St. Lawrence Starch Company’s signet style rings, hockey stick tie-clips and lapel pins were first offered in 1949, with the mail-in promotion lasting two years. Twenty-five cents and a product label or box top is what they “cost” at the time! Measuring three/quarters of an inch in diameter, the piece here is in EX condition with a light scuff.
