The Marconi company produced this puck-shaped transistor radio following the illustrious career of Maurice Richard and called it its “626” model in tribute to the Rocket’s regular season and playoff career goal total of 626. With a golden facsimile autograph of the legend, the radio is 4” in diameter and still works. Contained in its original box along with the instructions, an earphone and two like-new black leather carrying straps (one short, one long), the radio itself is in EX+ condition. The box (5 1/2” x 8” x 3”) with an attached flip top features a nice photo of the hockey hero and the name and address of its one-time owner, otherwise it’s in nice EX shape.
