Dandy piece from the Montreal Forum reveals the relatively small amount of space members of the media were allocated while covering “les Canadiens” from high above the ice surface. Heavy piece of 1-1/2” thick wood represents two “spaces”, each 15” by 24” wide. Not a ton of room to spread out press notes, typewriters/computers, phones and other paraphernalia! Included are thirteen little plastic plaques (1-1/2” by 4”) identifying such media outlets as The Gazette, the Journal de Montreal, La Presse, CKAC, CJAD, CFCF and others. Cool pieces to render nostalgic reporters like Fisher, Raymond, Pedneault and Tremblay, just to name a few. There is also a media outlet plastic plaque attached to the clear window on the press box counter so a grand total of fourteen plaques are included in this lot.
