Jean Beliveau Foundation Auction

A great story accompanies this delectable piece of Montreal Forum history. With its special iron legs/supports and wooden armrests, this number 4 “red” is from the 1949-68 time frame and was “retired” when the Forum was renovated in 1968, the chairs with armrests making way for ones without, so as to be able to accommodate more fans, if you follow. It was then in storage for close to three decades! Thin padded red seat is in great shape, with paint chips on the armrests adding character and Jean Beliveau’s felt-tip pen autograph on the wooden back rest adding appeal. A letter of authenticity from the Canadiens will be included with this found treasure.
