Another exceptional and one-of-a-kind piece from the Montreal Forum that stirs memories of walking down the corridors of the famous arena, admiring Montreal’s hockey heroes through the years, this grandiose offering will especially tempt Habs’ fans who lived through the wonderful dynasty of the mid-to-late 1970s. Although Dryden, Lemaire, Cournoyer, Bowman and Pollock chose to depart for various reasons, the club’s makeup was still a potent, star-studded one. David Bier production with its original metal frame measures a massive 45” by 65” and features individual 4” by 6” photos. The middle row includes the pics of new captain Serge Savard, Guy Lafleur, Steve Shutt, Guy Lapointe, Mario Tremblay and Rejean Houle. Bob Gainey and Larry Robinson are pictured along the bottom and beside the Selke and Norris trophies they respectively won that season. Other players are Lambert, Risebrough, Mondou, Jarvis, Engblom, Lupien, Larouche, Langway, Napier, Nilan, Gingras, Chartraw, Geoffrion, Dupont and goalies Larocque and Herron. Executives Jean Beliveau, Toe Blake, Irving Grundman and Ron Caron join coach Claude Ruel in the top row. The Habs saw their hopes of equaling Montreal’s record five Stanley Cup titles of the 1950s quashed in the playoffs by Gilles Meloche and the Minnesota North Stars following a solid 47- win, 107-point regular season, Lafleur registering his sixth consecutive 50-goal season. The Flower and his mates can now enter your Canadiens shrine, the only one to boast this unique piece! Please call about required special delivery/pickup arrangements.
