Jean Beliveau Foundation Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/11/2008
Some nice display pieces here, along with some duplication, offer numerous possibilities. Eight (18” x 24”) color posters of Jean Beliveau look to be “proof” affairs similar to Canadiens Pro Star posters and are all autographed, while three lithographs titled “Vintage Skates” measure 12” by 15” and are signed by Beliveau and artist Daniel Parry. There are four 11” by 16” prints of an artwork by Russ Gordon (signed by Beliveau and Gordon), and an 11” by 14” photograph of a painting of Beliveau that was presented in 1974 to the Hall of Fame. Completing things is a neat 18” by 24” piece depicting Beliveau and Eddie Shack and used for the cover of a 1980 Montreal-Toronto Oldtimers’ game. Numbered “29/130”, it too is nicely autographed and will come with an LOA signed by Jean Beliveau.
