Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction - March 2007
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/27/2007
A couple of old CCM Custom Pro model sticks from the good old days in Toronto include a Kent Douglas game used twig with “Douglas” stamped on the shaft and nicely autographed by Kelly, Stanley, McKenney and Baun. Other signatures, including Mahovlich, are super faded, barely decipherable and shouldn’t be considered. Stick is solid with terrific game use and is joined by an unidentified CCM (Lie 5) stick with blue ballpoint signatures of Horton, Imlach, Mahovlich, G. Armstrong, Bower, Keon, Kelly, Stanley, Duff, Shack, Litzenberger, Brewer, Stewart, Hillman, Nevin, Douglas, Red Armstrong and trainer Haggert. Horton and Imlach are among the nicer (average 6/10) autographs, from the ’62-63 Stanley Cup-winning season.
