Swell group of items produced to commemorate Team Canada’s legendary 1972 Series against the Soviet Union is highlighted by Alan Eagleson’s quality wool and leather jacket with “’72 Series 25th Reunion” incorporated into a red maple leaf logo at the left breast. It’s by Lamasz Sport in size XL and shows very little wear. The original artwork of the series’ 25th anniversary logo by Rolf Huecking is included, along with five 1997 commemorative silver dollar gift sets from the Royal Canadian Mint. Autographed cards of Goldsworthy, Lapointe, Parisé, Gilbert, Redmond and Hadfield are matched up with cards picturing Team Canada ’72 and nicely framed with “20th Anniversary” included on engraved plaques. Two 100-card sets produced by Future Trends and cards of “The Goal” (6) and of Tretiak (8) are in their original cellophane wrappers. From Alan Eagleson’s personal collection with his signed LOA.
