Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/28/2023
Drafted in 1986 by New Jersey and retiring due to a career-ending neck injury in 1999, Kevin Todd broke the New Jersey Devils rookie scoring record previously held by Kirk Muller (since broken by Scott Gomez). From his second of two seasons in Anaheim, we have a Ducks alternate jersey worn by the Winnipeg native in 1997-98. Center Ice and Nike size labeling (54) sits along the collar, with embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the white V-neck has been embellished with layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers. Moderate use is shown on the jersey with a few marks and material pulls to the lower front, with a paint transfer mark to the left sleeve ad a small hole near the right elbow. Each sleeve also has a pair of team repairs. The team patch resides just above the inside hem, and it denotes this garment as a “Set 1” example. An LOA will accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
