Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Skating for just the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers throughout his lengthy HOF career which included two separate stints in Alberta, Kevin Lowe was a seven-time All-Star and Stanley Cup champion, with the King Clancy Memorial Trophy earned in 1990. We have an Oilers alternate captain’s jersey worn by Lowe during the 1991 Stanley Cup playoffs. A Maska label with handwritten “54” sizing is affixed to the collar with “90/91 3” for the year and “Set 3” handwritten beneath, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with a layered Oilers tackle twill team crest, “4” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Lowe” across the nameplate in single white twill. The dual-clasp fight strap is also intact. Moderate game-use is exhibited, with some wear to the material including a large stick mark to the team crest and a few random burn marks, with team repairs to the right sleeve (2), left sleeve (1) and reverse left shoulder (1). A letter from the Oilers and COR from MeiGray will accompany.
