Hall of Fame goalie Ken Dryden had an incredible run of success during his relatively brief NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens, winning the Stanley Cup in six of his nine NHL seasons. Dryden’s 1972-73 Canadiens Sher-Wood game-used stick from his second Stanley Cup season, his first of five Vezina Trophy wins with the Habs. “Dryden 29” is stamped on the shaft of this crack-free beauty that retains Ken’s original tape job on the knob and most of it on the blade, with a few strands missing towards the heel. “27 Nov. 1972” factory date stamp is on the back edge of the paddle. Nice game wear includes red goalpost paint transfer, black marks and wear to the bottom edge of the tape job on the blade.
