One of only two Ivy League collegiate players to have their number retired by the Cornell Big Red, Ken Dryden spent four years at the school, and would only lose a total of four games during his tenure while also first donning his iconic pretzel mask. This original painting on canvas feature’s the legendary keeper, and it’s been executed by renowned artist Murray Henderson. A charitable organization supporter and noteworthy for his sports representations, Henderson’s works are accounted for in a number of private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the US and Europe. At approx. 19 ½” x 26 ½”, Dryden is depicted in game-action complete with his early white pretzel mask, positioned in a slightly awkward position as he dominates the game. The artist has signed along the bottom right in dark blue, and with no condition issues to note, the canvas will be shipped to the winning bidder rolled.
