Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Named the tournament’s best goaltender while winning a gold medal with Canada at the 1996 World Junior Championships, Jose Theodore dressed for four different clubs during his NHL tenure, with the Hart Memorial Trophy earned in 2002. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the St-Bruno-de-Montarville native during his rookie season, in 1996-97. A CCM “Goalie Style” label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “60” appears in white-over-blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Theodore” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Exhibiting just light wear with a few marks over the team crest, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
