Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

It was a homecoming for Winnipeg native Jordy Douglas when he was traded to the old Jets by the Minnesota North Stars on January 12, 1984. Douglas scored four goals and six points in 17 regular season games with Winnipeg and appeared in one playoff game that spring. His 1983-84 Jets game-worn blue mesh road jersey has size “48” handwritten in red ballpoint ink on the SK Sandow Sporting Knit flag tag in the neck. The large rubberized CCM logo is screened on the right rear tail and a cut skate lace remains tied in the fight strap loop inside the jersey. Game wear shows in black marks and board burns on the sleeves, particularly on the right, and on the left hip. An LOA will accompany.
“Douglas” is spelled out in individually embroidered white thread letters on the sewn-on solid blue fabric nameplate.
