Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

This is the nicest John Kordic Montreal Canadiens game-worn jersey we have ever seen! With an absolutely massive and intricate team repair on the front collar seam, it’s clear to see that the late Habs enforcer took this red, white and blue beauty to battle. This circa 1987-88 game-worn jersey has a Maska flag tag in the back of the neck and a customized fight strap system. There are a few areas of staining on the front tail below the CH crest and we count an additional 10 vintage team repairs, including a three-inch vertical sewing fix on the left front tail. More game wear includes board burns and marks on the sleeves, and pilling inside the rear tail and both elbow gussets. Comes with an LOA.
The customized fight straps have two additional smaller loop straps, one sewn on either side of the shortened snap strap.
The three-inch vertical team repair runs through the white and blue stripes, with a smaller sewing fix below that. There are six team repairs on the back of the right sleeve, another circular sewing fix in the blue band to the right of the CH, and one more repair on the right rear tail.
The blue and red CCM logo is embroidered on the right rear tail.
