Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

Making his Major League debut with the Montreal Expos on June 19, 1994, pitcher Joey Eischen would later dress for the Dodgers, Tigers and Reds before returning to the Montreal/Washington franchise for an additional six seasons, from 2001 to 2006. This Expos jersey was worn by Eischen in 2001, his first season after returning to Quebec. A Russell Athletic swatch with “48” sizing sits over the front left tail, with “48” also handwritten over the interior collar. Featuring “Expos” appearing across the chest in stylish script, fully administered in tackle twill, “58” resides over the reverse and front left in matching material, with an Expos crest over the left sleeve and “9/11” American flag patch over the reverse neckline. Eischen has signed the reverse “8” in thin black marker, with no issues for the signature. Just light game use is visible on the garment, and it remains in beautiful condition.
