Hailing from the border town of Ogdensburg NY, goaltender Jimmy Howard spent four seasons in the AHL with Grand Rapids before securing a permanent spot with Detroit. This Red Wings jersey was worn by Howard in 2005-06 where he only saw action in four games, and it’s been photo-matched. “Goalie Style” size tagging appears in the collar, with embroidered Reebok and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with attractive tackle twill numbers and letters along with the classic winged wheel team crest, the back name has been placed directly onto the jersey. The rubberized team stamp resides on the inside hem stating this garment is a “1st Set” example, with the team store price tag still attached to the collar. An LOA from the Red Wings will accompany.
Game-wear on the solid red v-neck includes just a single stick mark over the left shoulder, along with two team repairs, with one on the upper front, the other along the bottom of the “A” on verso. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, an included 8" x 10" printed photo has been matched showing the inventory number "36081" on the lower back of the jersey.
