The 61st overall selection at the 1986 NHL Entry Draft, goaltender Jim Hrivnak spent time in a number of different league’s throughout his career including the AHL and IHL, with his 85 NHL games split between Winnipeg, St Louis and Washington. We have a Capitals jersey that was worn by the Montreal native in 1991-92, where he appeared in 12 games. A Maska Air-Knit label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse lower hem. Styled with “Capitals” across the chest in individual white twill letters with “Washington” embroidered above, “39” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. There is some light discolouration and pilling along the collar, with additional pilling over each shortened sleeve. The fight strap shows repeated washings, with some light staining over the lower reverse numbers, with this possibly red goal post paint transfer.
