Sent to the New York Rangers in the Mark Messier trade after parts of six seasons with the Oilers, Jeff Beukeboom played his final eight NHL seasons in Manhattan beginning in 1991-92. Spending 520 games with the Blueshirts in the bright lights of Madison Square Garden and Manhattan and a key cog in New York's 1994 Stanley Cup championship, offered here is this jersey worn by Beukeboom during the 1995-96 season. A heavyweight mesh construction garment made by CCM that features CCM, Gerry Cosby and size "58" tagging affixed to the inner collar, the emblems of both CCM and the NHL shield have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with “Rangers” going diagonally down the chest in individual red-over-white drop-shadow tackle twill letters, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have had Beukeboom's number "23" sewn to them in matching style numbers while "Beukeboom" is spelt out over the top of the back, once again in matching style drop-shadow tackle twill letters that have been sewn directly to the material in a gentle arch. Featuring the original fight strap on the interior as well as a Rangers team stamp that denotes the jersey as being a "Set 1, 95-96" offering, the jersey shows good game-wear via stick marks over the front and reverse, board burns over both sleeves, small unrepaired holes to the left of the "2" on the right sleeve as well as pilling/fraying on the interior. Additionally, colour bleed in the white areas of the jersey is present due to numerous washings. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Beukeboom's 1996-97 Pinnacle Summit card that shows a match to the unrepaired small holes to the left of the "2" on the right sleeve.
