Following a career that included 10 Stanley Cup championships, Jean Beliveau took on the title of Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and continued to add to his collection of miniature Stanley Cups! The first came in 1973 as Montreal and Chicago hooked up for a rematch of the 1971 finals. The Canadiens, who had posted a league-leading 52-win, 120 point season and who first took care of Buffalo (6 games) and Philadelphia (5), were able to down the Hawks in 6 games, with Conn Smythe-winner Yvan Cournoyer scoring the Cup-winner. The speedster set a modern record with 15 playoff tallies and his and Jacques Lemaire's 12 points tied Gordie Howe's record for points in the finals. Their names are engraved on this fabulous silver-plated souvenir and are joined by those of fellow Hall-of-Famers Dryden, Lafleur, Laperriere, Lapointe, Mahovlich, Richard, Robinson, Savard, Shutt, Bowman, Pollock and of course, Beliveau. Trophy is in excellent condition with some specs of silver loss and specs of tarnish on the barrel. From another great season in franchise history, the awesome memento will be accompanied by Jean Beliveau's signed LOA.
