Originally drafted 61st overall by the Washington Capitals at the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Jason Woolley would go on to play a total of 718 National Hockey League contests in his career after playing three (3) years of NCAA hockey as a member of the Michigan State Spartans. A silver medalist with Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games, offered here is this Washington Capitals jersey worn by Woolley during the 1992-93 season. Made by CCM, the Air-Knit material garment sports both Maska and size "54" labels affixed to the inner collar when the emblems of both CCM and the NHL shield have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Styled with “Capitals” across the chest in individual white twill letters with “Washington” embroidered above, the Stanley Cup Centennial patch that was worn by the league's teams throughout the season is in place over the right breast. Accented with alternating white and blue tackle twill stars across the upper chest and down both sleeves, Woolley's number "25" has been sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals. Having had "Woolley" spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate that is seen at the top of the back, the jersey shows just light game wear via light board burns and stick marks over the left elbow and cuff while some small stains are present on top of the left shoulder and collarbone areas. Additionally, good pilling is seen on the interior as well.
