A New York Islanders draft choice in 1994, Jason Strudwick had his NHL time split amongst five different clubs, with lengthy stays in Vancouver and Edmonton. A veteran of 674 games played in the National Hockey League, offered here is this photo-matched New York Rangers jersey worn by Strudwick during the 2005-06 season. Made by Reebok, a lone size "58" tag resides over the inner collar while logo patches for both Reebok and the NHL have been sewn over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front of the classic tie-neck style garment with "Rangers" going diagonally down the chest in individually applied drop shadow blue-over-red tackle twill numerals, Strudwick's number "34" has been added over the sleeves and verso in matching style numerals while "Strudwick" is spelt out in matching letters sewn directly to the jersey across the upper back in a gentle arch. A Set #2 specimen worn between December 7th, 2005 and February 4th, 2006, the jersey shows game-wear in the form of stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves along with board burns over both sleeves and right shoulder. Additionally, a small unrepaired cut is found above the right elbow. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "C07175" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "White Set 2" specimen and is accompanied by a matching LOA. Regarding the aforementioned photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #115475980 (February 4th, 2006 vs Philadelphia) to the stick marks present over the left shoulder.
