Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

The second-last of the nine NHL teams represented throughout his unmatched career, Jaromir Jagr would enjoy a warm three-season stint in sunny Florida in the mid-2010s, with impressive numbers still posted including 66 points in 79 games, in 2015-16. From that very season – one that witnessed Jagr become 3rd all-time for NHL points (he is now #2), we have a photo-matched Panthers jersey worn by the superstar during the 2015-16 regular season and playoffs. A label with “58+” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive partially-embroidered team crest, the V-neck sweater has been accented with “68” in layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Text has been added over the fight strap, with a Fanatics hologram numbered “AA0017377” placed just above, and according to their website, the jersey is a “White Set 3” example.
A few washed-out stick marks are visible over the lower front, with additional dark marks over the left side of the reverse and near the left elbow. Getty Image #674905868, from April 7, 2016 (regular season), has been matched to the long black mark on the lower left sleeve, while Getty Image #522214798, from April 17, 2016, has been matched to the loose blue thread below the lowest blue stripe on the left sleeve. Lastly, Getty Images #526516024 (April 20, 2016 Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals), #523890312 (April 24th 2016 Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals) and #526531608 (April 24th 2016 Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals), have all been matched to the black mark on the left side breast and to the long black mark on the lower left sleeve.
