The only NHL All-Star Game ever hosted in Georgia, the 2008 installment of hockey’s greatest showcase took place at Phillips Arena in Atlanta and featured the Western Conference again taking on the Eastern, with the latter slipping past the former 8-7. Eric Staal would score a pair of goals for the East and be named MVP for his efforts. This Western Conference jersey was worn by Henrik Sedin in the first period of the contest, and it’s been signed. CCM size tagging with a Reebok name band sit attached to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a “West” team crest in double-twill with dual stars above and below, the solid white v-neck has been embellished with double-twill numbers along with two rows of stars placed evenly along both sides between the seams. The important 2008 All-Star patch resides over the left shoulder along with a Canucks crest over the right, while the NHLPA insignia rests on the bottom outside hem. With just a tiny faint mark on the lower front, the jersey remains in excellent condition. There is also some light discolouration along the back left shoulder seam, along with a few additional small stains beneath the reverse numbers. Sedin has added a thin black marker signature in between the numbers on verso, and it has slightly bled into the material. A MeiGray patch numbered E10007 sits on the inside hem near the handwritten “1” on the fight strap, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White - Western Conference All-Star 1/27/08 (Period 1) / NHLPA Set" example. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
