A stunning 10K gold creation commemorates the fourth straight Stanley Cup win of the Canadiens dynasty of the late-1970s and evokes memories of the famed roster including Guy Lafleur, Ken Dryden, Larry Robinson and Steve Shutt. The Habs made it four Cup wins in a row in the spring of 1979, sweeping the Maple Leafs before getting past the Bruins in a tough semi-final that turned on Boston’s too-many-men penalty in Game 7. Yvon Lambert scored the Cup-winning goal in the fifth game of the final against the New York Rangers as Montreal won the Cup on home ice for the first time since 1968. Bob Gainey contributed six goals and 16 points to claim the Conn Smythe Trophy. Offered here, we present this Guy Lafleur 1978-79 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Champions 10K gold salesman's sample ring. Measuring as a size 9 1/2 with an approximate weight of 25 grams, four (4) zirconias are present on the tableau along with the image of the Stanley Cup and the "76-77-78-79" years that the Habs skated off with Lord Stanley’s silverware. Featuring another twenty-two (22) zirconias around the bezel of the ring, the right shank displays "1979" and "NHL Champions Coupe Stanley Cup" with the team’s “52-17-11” regular season mark at the bottom while the one on the left side displays “Lafleur”, the CH logo, and “Club de Hockey Canadien” at the bottom. Stamped with "Jostens 10K" on the inner band the ring shows wear from use via scratches to the inner and outer band (heavier on the interior) plus shanks as well as a small number of dings/small gouges to the edges in areas.
