Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Mighty cool piece of hockey history was donned by defenseman Guy Delparte during his lone NHL season in which he played 48 games for the Denver franchise. The blue mesh jersey has an affixed Champion size 48 tag in the collar and has the rubberized team logo that the team only used early on in the season before receiving and donning their "regular" jerseys. The number "7" on the back and sleeves, and the shoulder graphics are all rubberized as well. The jersey exhibits decent wear which includes a half dozen or so small light game marks on the right sleeve with a similar amount showing on the left sleeve which also has an unrepaired hole and a long slash/paint transfer mark resulting in a small hole, also unrepaired. The front of the jersey has an orange paint transfer mark on the lower left hem area with three black stick and slash marks located on the lower hem as well. There are four additional game marks on the front of the jersey which also has a small unrepaired cut. The sweater, which was issued without a fight strap, shows evidence of a former "penny" fight strap attached on the lower back and is actually the exact size of a quarter. These Colorado Rockies inaugural season jerseys are not often offered for sale and would make for a more than welcome addition in your Colorado/defunct team jersey collection.
