Just the second Toronto Maple Leaf in history to register 50 goals or more in a single season, Gary Leeman spent the majority of his career in Ontario, and later won a Stanley Cup championship with Montreal in 1993. From the championship season of 1992-93, we have the red road jersey worn by Leeman during the Stanley Cup Finals vs Los Angeles. Maska Ultrafil and size “52” fly tags are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous crest in hockey on the front, “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Leeman” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill letters. The 1993 Stanley Cup Finals patch has been sewn over the Stanley Cup centennial crest on the right breast. Exhibited game wear is light with a stick mark present at the bottom of the front crest, a few marks on the right sleeve, one on the lower front and two black stick marks through the “2” on the right sleeve. Getty Images #91071368 (June 7, 1993 Stanley Cup Finals vs Los Angeles) has been matched to the black stick marks found on the number “2” found on the right sleeve.
