Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Nicknamed “The Big M”, HOFer Frank Mahovlich spent parts of 18 seasons in the NHL, including four with les Canadiens in the early-1970s. This attractive Montreal Canadiens’ oldtimers jersey was worn by the Timmins native. Athletic Knit tagging appears along the collar, with all identifiers screened-on and rubberized including “Mahovlich” and “27” on verso. “Les Anciens Canadiens” has been placed across the chest in script, with no sleeve numbers present. With just a tiny faint stain on the lower front, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. A signed LOA mentioning a number of items from a past sale including this jersey will accompany from Mr. Mahovlich.
