The signatures of silver screen sirens Fay Wray and Alice Faye are featured in this lot that also includes 15 of the 1940 OPC Film Star cards, featuring the likes of Judy Garland, Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Ray Milland, Hedy Lamarr, Jack Benny and Henry Fonda. “To Grace, Fay Wray” is signed in bold dark blue fountain pen ink on the bottom of the Montreal theatre program of Wray starring in the Ayn Rand play “Night of January 19” at His Majesty’s Theatre on June 16, 1941. Wray, who died in 2004 and is best remembered for playing the original King Kong’s love interest, is listed in the role of Karen Andre in the cast lineup on page 3 of the four-page program, which features period ads. The JSA basic certification sticker with number P10714 is applied to the bottom left corner of page 2 of the 9 1/8” x 6 1/8” program. Alice Faye, who died at the age of 83 in 1998, signed “To Stella, Happiness Always, Alice Fay” in bold blue fountain pen ink on a 6 5/8” x 4 3/4"portrait photo. JSA basic certification with certification number P10713 on the JSA sticker applied to the bottom right corner of the blank reverse of Faye’s signed photo. The 1940 OPC Film Stars cards measure 7x5 and are overall in VG to VG/EX condition. Included are:
