Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Representing Canada a number of times on the international stage throughout his career, Eric Lindros was a member of the gold medal winning 2002 squad at Salt Lake City. From the personal collection of Eric Lindros, we have a group of 12 signed 2002 Winter Olympic lithographs, along with a signed Team Canada jersey. Each 20 ½” x 28” artist proof is part of a limited-edition of 100 by Rob MacDougall, with the artist signing each along the bottom right, Lindros along the bottom left, with both signatures executed in pencil. The jersey is a Bauer Pro Wear example with partially embroidered team crest, with Eric signing across the crest in black marker, with the signature displaying exceptionally well. A signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
Each lithograph has been hand-numbered, with the examples in this lot 55/100, 56/100, 57/100, 58/100, 60/100, 61/100, 62/100, 63/100, 64/100, 65/100, 66/100 and 67/100. There is a slight warp to each, with this problem easily rectified through framing. There is also some corner wear along with the odd dent, indentation or crease. The jersey remains in gorgeous condition, with a slight bend to the team crest.
