Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Fondly remembered for his time with the Philadelphia Flyers as the leading member of the Legion of Doom, Eric Lindros would see a trio of seasons with the New York Rangers after his days in the City of Brotherly Love, with a lone year spent with the Toronto Maple Leafs, in 2005-06. This photo-matched Leafs third jersey was worn by the superstar in 2005-06, where he appeared in 33 games. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the reverse hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with a vintage-style Leafs team crest with embroidered detailing, “88” appears over the sleeves and verso in single navy twill, with “Lindros” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. A MeiGray patch numbered “C09835” sits on the inside hem next to a year swatch, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" example. An LOA will accompany.
Showing nice game use, there are dark marks over each sleeve, with board burns over the right sleeve’s numbers, with a small slit directly beneath.
