Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Leading the Flyers to their first Stanley Cup playoff appearance in 6 years in 1995, Eric Lindros had recently inherited the captain’s C in September of 1994, with the Flyers advancing to the conference finals against New Jersey. Originating from the personal collection of Eric Lindros, we have an attractive 1995 MVP trophy plaque. At 12” x 15”, the wooden plaque with beveled edge features a 1996 NHL Yearbook cover with Eric’s image under plexiglass, along with a metal plate that list’s the particulars including “ICD Presents to Eric Lindros - 1995 Most Valuable Player – Flyers Team Captain”, along with the date listed of September 1995”. A signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
The plaque remains in the same condition as was presented to us, with some dirt on the plate and plexiglass that could be cleaned by the winning bidder if so desired. A sticker also remains on the reverse from maker Paul’s Trophies in New Jersey.
