Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
While not traditional in the NHL, the Edmonton Oilers first featured team cheerleaders in 2010, with the members performing at home games along with being involved with community events alongside the players. We have a ring from the inaugural season in 2010-11, presented to team member Ashley L. Love. Size 4, an Octane logo appears on the face along with a pair of zirconias, with “Edmonton Oilers Octane”. The left shank has “Canada’s First NHL Cheer Team” along with an Oilers logo, with “A-Love” and “2011” appear on the right. The recipients name is engraved along the inner band in script, along with “LTM” (Lustrium). Wear with scratches are present on the band, with additional wear to the face and shanks, especially along edges.
