Best known for his years tending the twine of the New York Rangers from 1965 to 1975, Eddie Giacomin finished out his career wearing the winged wheel of the Detroit Red Wings before retiring in January 1978. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987, offered here is this Giacomin signed Detroit Red Wings replica goalie mask display. Mounted on a wooden plaque measuring 12” x 15” that remains in good condition with light wear/dings to the edges and corners, displays a plaque with Eddie’s career stats at the bottom. The mask, a full-sized replica, measures approx. 9 ½” in length and sports Giacomin’s Red Wings paint job made to resemble spark plugs above the eyes. Remaing in excellent condition with just a small handful of surface marks observed the mask has been signed by the Hall of Fame netminder under the left eye with a beautiful black ink signature with “H.O.F 87” having been added underneath. A wonderful piece for any Red Wings or goalie enthusiast.
