Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A veteran that witnessed two decades of professional hockey, Doug Gilmour dressed for seven different NHL clubs, with a Stanley Cup won while with Calgary in 1989. Celebrating the earlier part of his HOF career during his time in St Louis, we have a trophy from 1986-87 that was presented to Gilmour by the Blueliners, a fan club of the team. At 19 ½” in height and topped with a gold-coloured plastic trophy cup with mounted musical note, a crest sits over the middle portion, with a plaque affixed to the wooden base that states “Blueliners Most Colorful Player – 1986-1987 - Doug Gilmour”. A few blemishes are present on the trophy bowl, with scratches over the plaque. There is also wear to the wooden base, with the trophy displaying well. A signed LOA from Doug Gilmour will accompany.
